Mission Statement

The Mission of the Risk Management Department is to to continuously develop, manage, and improve insurance and safety/occupational risk management practices in order to provide quality, cost-effective support to our internal customers and to protect the County’s financial wellbeing.  

What We Do

Maintain all worker’s compensation, property and casualty claims, monitors, and controls all insurance and worker’s compensation losses and sets funding reserves, maintains and reports all OSHA reports data, maintains and manages all county’s motor fleet titles and registrations and plating, gathers and reports workers’ compensation information to Auditor for payment to the state, consults with elected officials and department heads on safety/risk interventions and best practices.
