Sheriff Reminds Community DUI Checkpoint

Mahoning County Sheriff Randall A. Wellington wishes to remind the public that a checkpoint will commence at 9:00pm, Saturday, July 5, 2003 in Austintown Township. Traffic enforcement will continue through September 2003, funded by a grant received from the Ohio Department of Public Safety. The Sheriff’s Office received eighty four thousand dollars in grant money for DUI / Speed enforcement and traffic related equipment.
