Background Checks/Fingerprinting

 

The Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office provides background checks free of charge.  However, the State of Ohio and the Federal Government charge the following fees for background investigations:

 

 

BCII (State of Ohio)      $22.00

 

 

FBI (Nationwide)           $24.00

 

 

These fees are payable by money order ONLY ($22.00/ $24.00/ $46.00 Both) payable to the “Mahoning County Sheriff”. No other forms of payment will be accepted.

 

 

Hours of Operation:

 

We do background checks/ fingerprinting on Wednesdays and Thursdays ONLY

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

1:00 PM- 3:00 PM

 

You will need a VALID driver’s license or state issued identification card and your Social Security Card.
