THANKSGIVING FOR SENIORS 2010
The First Federated Church of North Jackson, 10786 Mahoning Avenue, North Jackson 12:00 noon, Wednesday, November 24, 2010
Sheriff Randall A. Wellington is pleased to announce the Fourth Annual “Thanksgiving for Seniors” in coordination with The First Federated Church of North Jackson. The Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office Senior Services Program will be providing Thanksgiving Dinner to referred senior citizens that are unable to cook, are houmebound and have no resources to obtain Thanksgiving dinner from family, friends, or retail delivery. Area agencies and organizations have made referrals for those that meet the criteria and offered their assistance in delivering the meals. Very generous financial contributions and food donations for this very worthwhile project have been made by the following sponsors:

The great cooks at The First Federated Church of North Jackson are preparing the meal. The dinners will be delivered by Sheriff Wellington and volunteers from the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office Senior Services Program. Additional volunteers from the area service providers are also assisting with the delivery efforts.
The Sheriff and Senator John Schiavoni along with the Volunteers will be meeting at the First Federated Church of North Jackson, 10786 Mahoning Avenue in North Jackson at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, November 24th, 2010 to pick up the dinners for delivery.
This is one of many projects that the Mahoning County Senior Services Program is providing to the senior citizens of Mahoning County.
PLEASE NOTE: Senator Schiavoni will not arrive until 1:00 p.m. due to previous obligations.
